- Registered Apprenticeship certificate
- 2 to 3 years of working expertise in shop/ workshop
- Able to speak the French language
Duties & Skills:
Applicants will perform;
- Adjust/ repair parts of commercial transport truck systems
- Repair or replace mechanical units of the bus
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Review work orders & discuss them with the supervisor
- Diagnose faults and confirm findings t determine whether to repair/ replace the unit
- Able to repair engine, brake system, hydraulic, fuel, and emission systems, etc
- Good communication skills
- Time management & interpersonal skills
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Test and adjust repaired systems to the specifications of the vehicle manufacturer
- Replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
- However, inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
